Seahawks first game is today! We'll see how Mora holds up this season as coach, hah. We'll have a strong defense, that's fo sho. Kickoff is at 1:15 and I am psyched.
I sometimes read this fashion blog by this fourteen year old girl in Copenhagen. Usually she dresses super well and thinks of things in reasonable terms. And it's refreshing to read something that is completely free of pretension. She's just interested in boys and skipping out on homework. But her recent post about loving fur weirded me out. I think fur is gross. Not just because I am vegan revolution, it just looks gross. And the idea of wearing something's skin and hair is gross. I will be the first to admit that bacon and cheese are delicious, so I'm not all that biased. Just... gross...

ReplyDelete1. Ida being a friend of mine, she is a hard working student, have you ever see her mention boys on her blog, normally she ends her blogs with 'Gtg and finish my homework.' or 'Homework's finished'.
2. Everyone is entitled with an opinion but isn't this a little bit over the top, I mean why post it on the internet where a lot of people can get access to your blog.
3. You should really think about people's feeling's, even though your vegan. Isn't a vegan a person who consumes only plant foods such as vegetables, grains, legumes (beans and peas), fruits, nuts, and seeds? Eating Bacon and Cheese isn't really part of a Vegan lifestyle is it?
4. You clearly have no copyright over this picture and it belongs to Ida, have you even asked permission to use it?
5. In Ida's country there are a lot of foxes about so why she can't wear fur is beyond me. If she wants to wear fur then she wants to wear fur, it's her choice, her style and her blog.

ReplyDeleteI think it's very ironic: people say blabla you shouldn't wear fur (i love fur, and people say this to me all the time) but really, then kick off your leather boots and remove all meat from your fridge.. Choose one side or another, I'm sorry. And btw, fur is cuuuute!
No one's criticizing you for being a vegan, cause it's your own choice and you do what you want, so why are you saying this stuff about Ida and inventing stuff? and especially on your blog? What, are you 12 or something?

Jesus, calm down. I'm not trying to hate on Ida or anything. I think she's adorable and love her blog. And don't try to call me a hypocrite because I haven't bought any type of animal product in 4 years. Leather boots were free on the side of the road. And Ida, I never meant to make you sound dumb. I just thought it was nice that you weren't trying to be too grown up.

I love fur! Sure everyones entitled to their own opinion. If you hate fur, then so be it but really its all about letting everyone have their own choice. If Ida wants to wear fur, then its her choice. I love fur too but im not going around spreading 'Hey wear fur! Fur is good!' its my own choice, and her choice too, so please dont post such posts saying that its gross etc etc.
